Former Sex and the City sex kitten Kim Cattrall is set to join a new cast for the pilot episode of a new, Elton-John produced comedy series called ‘Him and Us’.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series follows a gay British rock star and his longtime manager.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Anthony Stewart Head will play the rock star, and Cattrall will play the manager, Freddie. The role originally was written for a male, but is being reworked for Cattrall.


John, a self-proclaimed "huge fan" of Cattrall's, will serve as executive producer on the show.


"Having a great comic actress like Kim is so exciting," says John, the project's executive producer. "I'm a huge fan of hers."
